Privacy, in plain language.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, profile settings and sign-in information. Supabase handles password authentication; please never send your password to support.
• Your gaming choices: favorite games, taste preferences, recommendation feedback, saved play choices, Library entries and recorded platform or subscription access.
• Optional Steam connection: if you link Steam, we use your Steam identifier and available profile or owned-game information to support Library features. Availability depends on your Steam privacy settings.
• Technical information: our hosting and authentication providers process requests, IP addresses, browser information and operational logs to deliver the service, diagnose problems and limit abuse.
• Support messages: information you choose to include when contacting us.

How we use it

We use this information to manage your account, save your Library, personalize game recommendations, remember your feedback, send account emails and resolve service problems. Recommendations are automated suggestions and may be incomplete or inaccurate while the catalog and taste system develop.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication cookies keep you signed in and verify sign-in and recovery requests. Local and session storage remember guest favorites, recent suggestions and in-progress play choices. Clearing browser data removes those local preferences and may sign you out; it does not delete information already saved to your account.

Services that process information

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Resend delivers account emails. Support email is forwarded through Cloudflare to our Proton Mail inbox. These services process information needed for their respective functions, potentially in countries other than your own, including the United States.

Game artwork can load from external image hosts. When your browser requests an image, that host receives connection information such as your IP address. Opening a store offer takes you to another service with its own privacy and cookie practices. Store or affiliate links may include referral identifiers; Troveward does not attach your account email or taste profile to offer links.

We do not sell your account profile or Library information. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to address abuse and protect the service.

Keeping and managing your information

Account data is kept while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. Logs and backups follow the relevant service providers’ retention settings and may outlast removal from the active application.

You can update preferences and manage Library entries in the app. For access, correction, export or account-deletion requests, email support@troveward.com from your account address. These requests are handled manually; we may ask you to verify ownership. We will explain any information that must be retained for security or legal reasons. Self-service account deletion and export are not available in this preview.

Children and updates

Troveward is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
